The GDM In-A-Box product contains three components: GDM client, GDM Admin Client and GDM Server. GDM Client
Get the full control over Continuous Data Protection (CDP) by IBM utilizing the GDM Toolkit. All communication is done through CDP by IBM, the GDM Client and GDM Server is done through the GDM Toolkit. Furthermore, it provides bidirectional functions to get and set configuration parameters for the components.
IBM’s Tivoli CDP is utilized in order to watch the file system for changes and to transfer relevant files to an online storage encryption on both files and communication.

GDM Admin Client
The GDM Admin Client is the Graphical User Interface for administrators. You will be able to create, modify and delete users. At the same time, it gives you the control of licensing issues and usage reports. All communication is done through CDP by IBM. Communication between GDM Admin Client and GDM Server is done through GDM Toolkit. Further, it provides bidirectional functions to get and set configuration parameters for the components.
IBM’s Tivoli Continuous Data Protection is utilized in order to access users’ data with their encryption keys stored in the database.

GDM Server
